I, Henry M. Bowden, clerk of the Corporation Court of the City of Norfolk do hereby certify that it appears by the records of my office that Robert Robertson dec'd purchased the houses & lot numbered No. 87. & 89. East Mean Street, by deed from W. Machindre and wife dated 1 Feb 1826, and that the said property still belongs to the children of the said Robert Robertson dec'd under his wife recorded in this Court.  The children named in the will are Viz, Mary Frances, Robert, William, Helen Virginia, Gilbert, Harrison & Elizabeth Caroline.
