In April 1861, two of the children had died, viz. Robert & Gilbert, both unmarried and intestate, leaving their surviving brothers and sisters their heirs at law. The names of these survivors were William Robertson, Mary F. Maxwell, Helen V. Robertson, Harrison Robertson, and Elizabeth C. Waller wife of L.T Waller. William, the eldest survivor was then residing in Philadelphia and was a Paymaster's Clerk on board the U.S. Steamer Powell, Capt S.C. Rowan, in the naval service of the United States; and continued in that service until October 1863, and after that time continued to reside during the rest of the War in the State of Pennsylvania a loyal citizen of the United States, and as still residing in the said State of Pennsylvania. Mary T. Maxwell, a widow, and Helen V. Robertson, were (in April 1861) residing with their sister Elizabeth C.
