In my application for restoration of the property belonging to the Estate of Mrs Mary Ann Schoolfield, Dec'd. now in the possession of the Freedman's Bureau, to her legatees, I omitted to give a description of the property. I now supply the omission. The property consists of 1st a store, & dwelling on High Street, Portsmouth rented to Mr A.T. Widikind as a grocery store, 2nd a double tenement on the East side of Middle Street between High, & Queen rented to private individuals as residences, 3d a dwelling on the corner of Queen, & Middle Street rented to L.C.P. Cowpen, & 4th a double tenement on the North side of Queen Street between Court, & Middle, rented to private persons as dwelling houses - None of the property is in the occupancy of the government authorities. There are some other lots in Portsmouth belonging to the Estate but they have not been entered as abandoned property, nor have they been taken possession of by the
