I would further request to know at least the immediate permission to gather the fruit from his Peach orchard which is large and full for the support of his family which is large and unprovided for. I would further request to have my Grist Mill restored to me, from which I could obtain bread for my family. I would further state that I have never engaged in the war nor have held any office. That I have taken the oath of amnesty and expect to yield obedience to the Government. hoping you will see the justice and propriety of my request and give me back my property to which I think I am justly entitled.
