Sir.  Your Petitioner respectfully represents that she is the wife of Charles E Wortham. That by the last Will and Testament of William Dey the father of your Petitioner she inherited by and through said will the following described property situate in the City of Norfolk State of Virginia to wit, House and lot on Catharine Street being 3rd house from New Baptist Church, (see copy of will herewith transmitted) and that the same is now owned by your Petitioner as her sole property. That your Petitioner is a resident of the City of Richmond and has resided in the said City since July in the year 1855, and has not occupied said premises since that time but has rented the same, That your Petitioner has taken the oath of allegiance to the Government of the United States under the Proclamation of President Johnson of date May 29th 1865, and that your said Petitioner is not included in any of the excepted classes enumerated in said Proclamation (a copy of which oath is herewith transmitted) That said premises have not been libelled nor proceeded against
