I, George Blow Jr of the City of Norfolk do hereby declare on oath that I was personally acquainted with Alice H. Dameron one of the devices of her Mother Alice Dawly dec'd.- that she resided for many years in the House No 17 Freemason Street in the City of Norfolk and died about the year in the City of New Orleans - that her daughter Alice A. Dameron - now Alice A Wright of New Orleans - under the Will of her grand mother Alice Dawley dec'd succeeded to the said to the said House & col.

That I have been for many years up to the appointment of J. R. Todd - the attorney of Mrs A. A. Wright for the collection of the rent of said property and I know that the said House & lot No 17 Freemason Street is the same property which was bequeathed by the said Alice Dawley to her daughter A. H. Dameron and at her death to her grand-daughter Alice A. Wright. I have applied to Mrs Ann Reynolds the present occupant during the War and since - She acknowledged her indebtedness but has never paid me anything.
