Respectfully returned to Genl S.C. Armstrong Supt 9th Dist with the information that transportation was furnished for the within child who was in the possession of the Provost Marshal confined in Libby Prison On the 15th inst when the officer of the Bureau went to get the child he was informed that Rosa Quarles and the child had been released on the 14th inst by Genl Granger's orders. The Supt of the 3d Dist has been ordered to rearrest Rosa and as soon as the boy is found he will be sent to Fort Monroe.
