Transcription Notes:
---------- I think Geo. Q. White might have been a Financial Agent, as well as a C.Q.M. I looked at military acronyms, and that is the only one that seems to fit these letters in L.R.Q.26. Reopened for Editing 2024-04-20 10:14:21 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-04-20 13:04:0 Keep the Letter and number together - that follow "L.R.". This is a reference to the initial of a group of letters with a person, for instance, that have that letter as the first letter of last name. It can mean something else too, but it is a reference for someone looking for that letter in particular. For example: Letters that were returned to S.C. Armstrong have an "A." followed by a number. That is how you can find his letter that is referenced somewhere else. Lt. Merrell has an "M.". Look at those above. So keep them together. L.R.A.215. 2d.V.66.
