Bureau R.F. & A.L. Office of Asst Supt. Sub Dist of Stafford and King George Counties Fredericksburg, Va. Aug 31st 1866. Sears, Hector Lieut. and Asst Supt. Reports - in compliance with Circular No 10. Head Qrs Asst Comr Va. March 12th 1866, - that but two (2) cases of a criminal nature, wherein Freedmen were parties, have been tried in his Sub Dist. during the month, The Freedmen in these cases were treated with impartiality and fairness and the law respecting their testimony was he thinks carried out in good faith. 10 [[stamp]] STATE OF VIRGINIA.
