In compliance with Circular No. 10, March 12, 1866, reports that but one criminal case, in which a freedman was concerned, has been tried in the Month of May. No objection was made to the reception of Negro testimony. It was a case of alleged attempt to kill maim &c  The man was acquitted upon the testimony of a colored witnesses.
