In the matter of the "Report" called for in the par. VI. Cir. No. 10. from Hd. Qrs. Asst Commr. Bureau R.F. and A.L. dated Richmond Va, March 12th. 1867, concerning the operation of the order restoring to the Civil Courts, jurisdiction over colored persons in civil and criminal cases in my District. I have the honor to state that I have no cases to report in which injustice has been done the freedmen, by any one having authority to act in the premises either by neglecting to receive and act upon a complaint or sworn information tendered by a colored person.
My Report this date, would be if written out at length, substantially the same as that of Oct. 30th. 1867.
