insufficient to convict nolle prosequi by Comth. Com'th. vs Brown (cold) charged with felony, found guilty of a misdemeanor and fined $10.00 and costs stealing corn. convicted upon colored & white evidence which was very conclusive Com'th. vs Woodruff (cold) Petit Larceny found guilty and imprisoned in County Jail (5) five days & costs (stealing clothing from auction rooms of BH Preddie of Culpeper C.H Va.) Com'th. v Field assault & Battery found guilty and fined one cent and costs - I have no cases to report from the County Court of Rappahannock. There were no cases tried at the March term of that Court and no prisoners awaiting trial (cold) In each of the cases reported for Culpeper County, I am free to say a fair & impartial hearing was had.
