they cannot be re elected at the trial of Freedmen before the Courts. The same forms and ceremonies are gone through with as in the case of a white man. Magistrates, Commonwealth Attornies and Juries are all the disposed to be severe on the Freedmen, the perpetration of Crime in this division by the Freedmen residing therein is of rare occurrence.
