Prosecution for Unlawfully Gaming & Betting
After hearing the evidence in the above case the court is of the opinion that there was not Sufficient evidence to prove that the Defendants Jack Roberts was cognizant that gaming was practised in his establishment the defendant Jack Roberts was therefore discharged and the court has found the Defendants Benj Totty (C) & John Simonds Guilty and the court does therefore Sentence them to pay a fine of Twenty (20) dollars each and to be committed to Jail until the fine is paid also one (1) dollar costs in each case

After hearing the evidence in the above case the court has rendered the following Verdict Judgement for Plaintiff for the Sum of $16.66 & 50 cts costs to be paid on of before the 15th day of January 1866
