2d case
barrels of corn would equal $15.00 or at least $14.00. The time was set when I was to have the corn. I sent for it [[strikethrough]] but both [[/strikethrough]] the time stated but when I sent both Ashlock and his wife were gone and I got no corn. He never paid my son to my knowledge and never paid me but the $10.00. He got the steer of me and not of my son.
Here an Affidavit of Luther Farenholt was presented but as it only affirms what Ashlock admits respecting the promise to pay two barrels of corn. it is not copied.
