Roster of Officers & Civilians on duty in Bureau R F & AL Dist of Va January 1st 1869 WAR DEPARTMENT, BUREAU REFUGEES, FREEDMEN, AND ABANDONED LANDS, Washington, January 8, 1869. [CIRCULAR LETTER.] Assistant Commissioners will forward to the Commissioner, on the first day of each month, a complete roster of all officers, agents, and clerks, on duty in their respective States, in lieu of reports of changes, and of citizen-agents and clerks called for by previous orders. All officers, agents, and clerks, on duty in this Bureau, will forward, direct to this office on the first day of each month, a personal report, giving station, the nature of their duties, and the authority assigning them to such duty.
