Ho my Wife is not in a condition for me to leave her & my Mother is now living at the point of death it is impossible for me to attend the trial I will send you in writing all that I have to say & would say if I was present. I suppose from your letter that you only wish a statement from me.

my fatherinlaw Mr. Mitchell will give you the condition of my family and Lomses Crop.
