Case investigated nothing due Case dismissed. C 12 Pendleton Jackson col'd vs Ned Johnson col'd May 11/68 Complaint that he sold a horse to Ned for which Ned was pay $70.00. $25.00 was paid down $25.00 was to be paid the first of May 1868 which he failed to do The balance $20.00 is to be paid July 1st, 1868. both of the latter payments he says he cannot meet no how Summoned party ordered payments made at once or the horse turned over to its former owner Horse was turned back. C 13 Martha A. Randolf col'd vs. George Williams May 11/68 Complains of having been beatened without any provocation with a cane, fist & a large pole. Reopening this. The transcription was oddly fictionalized in parts. Creative, but wrong. I attempted to clean up page 85 (could still use another go-through) but haven't looked at page 86.
