117 Rc 14 John Hilliard Cold vs Richard Hogden Complaint of having been beaten & threatened to be shot. Saying if you ever return on this place again I will blow your brains out. parties summoned, case investigated Hogden to blame, ordered Hilliard back, Hogden in my presence swears he will shoot him. I therefore had him Hogden bound over to keep the peace for one year . 15 J.G. Kaiser vs Jacob McCrainey Cold Complains that Jacob td from Kaiser a girl 13 years of age cold he Jacob being her Uncle, but said girl was left in charge of Kaiser, by the father of the girl until the fathers return. Therefore I ordered the girl back with Kaiser 16 David Juwell Cold vs Wilkinson County Claims $5.00 due him for the making of one coffin for a pauper child, ordered County to issue warrant for the same which was done by order of Board of Police 118 17 J.P. Womack vs Geo. Robinson Cold Complaints that he stole some clothing, table linen &c. Parties summoned and charge not sustained by evidence, parties dismissed 18 J.P. Womack vs Frank & Gordon Cold. Complaints that Frank and Gordon did not fulfill contract by cutting as much woods as agreed. Parties summoned and they agreed to cut the balance of the wood viz. four cords before Nov. 1868. 19 J.P. Womack vs Several Freedmen Complaints that they burned his fences Parties summoned but for want of proof the case was dismissed. 20 J.P. Womack vs. Gordon Cold. Complaint that he stole one Blacksmiths Anvill and sold it. Parties summoned and acknowledged that they sold an Anvill, but that they did not steal it, as they found it away down in the field, and the case was droped. 21 Ellen Johnson Cold. vs. Mrs E.A.O. Kelley Complaint of being discharged without being paid. On investigation of the case and examination of her a/c found that there was nothing due her and the case was dismissed.
