11 Colonel Miller cold vs. Rev. S. M. McDonald.
Complains of having been beaten with fist and whip by McDonald on several occasions twice this month & several times previously. Summoned the parties and settled the case by the Rev. McDonald paying five dollars $5.00/100.

12 Isham Dummar cold vs. James Douglas 
Complains that Douglas shot his hog while the hog was in Douglas's field said field not being surrounded by lawfull fence. Summoned the parties and investigated the matter  Settled by Douglas paying to Dummar five dollars ($5.00/100).

13 Mrs Freshor vs Peter Henderson cold & Ella Henderson his wife.
Complains that Peter and his wife are trying to evade paying rent for her house, in which they have been living  Peter had agreed to pay his rent by labor shingling her house. Sent for Peter and made him sign agreement to do the above named work, and then permitted to move out, from the house, which was satisfactory.

14 Willis Henderson col'd vs. Mrs. Eliza Patrick 
Complains that Mrs. Patrick, has shiped his cotton about one week since and has not offered a settlement. Ordered him to get her bill for what he owes her, and bring them to me when I would cause a settlement to be made. 

15 Esther Williams Cold. vs. John Leatherman 
Complains that Mr. L.L. Babus sent her off his place last Christmas  John Leatherman lives at Ben Stewarts Plantation. Sent for Leatherman and

16 Willis Moulton Cold. vs. Robb. Leatherman 
Complains that Leatherman owes him for work in the years 1867 & 1868 Investigated the case, Leatherman paid the debt in full, by giving Moulton one Gray Horse 15 hands high, which was satisfactory 

17 Jacob Schleisinger vs. Lewis Bell, cold.
Complains that Lewis owes him for provisions, and promised to pay him in cotton, which Lewis has failed to do. Lewis promised to pay from the next cotton that he brings in to town, which is to be done in a few days
