No particular asylum has been selected for her reception. And as she is an orphan freed girl, has no one to make arrangements for her care.
Mr. Branch informs us that upon a resent visit to Washington he called at Genl Howards H'd Qrs. by whom he was informed that if application was made to him, he could obtain admission for her in one of the charitable institutions of this character in the north.
