Davis today, He informs me that the child in question Henrietta, is residing and always has been since the fall of Richmond at the Misses Edwards (three old maids) in Louisa County, Va. about 6 miles from the Ct House of said County. He also informs me that he gave the officer in charge at Charlottsville the name of the child and her address.

Qr Mrs Genl office C.S. directs "on and after the 1st of April 1867 the transportation both of freight and persons required by the Business Bureau will cease to be furnished by the War Dept in any state where there is an officer of the Bureau." If General Armstrong will forward an application for transportation required specifying to weights, number and kind of package the point to which the stores are to be shipped, proper bills of lading will be returned to him.
