County but a deed of Emancipation, liberating a number of slaves of Miss Sarah Zanes and one Francis among the rest. Find no deed of bond conveyed by Miss Zane to F. Wedson (Cold.) nor any record of any will in either the County or Corporation Clerks offices. Cannot learn whether there has been any provisions made for the support of F. Wedson from the Estate of Miss Sarah Zane. It is reported by those that profess to know that Miss Zane did not die in this City, but either in Wheeling, W. Va. or Philadelphia, Pa. (Sgd.) G.R.
