Qu: Who was orderly Sergeant of your company.

Ans: Richard Young. 
  
Qu: How long have you known Wm. Hollin.

Ans: We were living together at Sam Hollins down in Montgomery, Tenn. five years before the war. Guthrie was about 2 1/2 miles distant from Sam Hollins place.

Qu: What were the names of some of the men of your company.

Ans: Polk Culp, Alex Culp, Hardy Hazell, Jos Hazell, George Baker who died in Nashville, Dan Martin, Ed. Smith, Moses Couch, Andrew Hatcher who died here too, Lason Hatcher, Dowson Resson, Joshua Henyton, Robert Hill who deserted at Bridgeport, Jerry Smith, Carlow Robinson who was corporal - Jerry Mc Lemore was Sergeant Major, Patrick Liggins was Quartermaster Sergent, and had been orderly Sergeant in D.C.
