Daniel White (2nd.) Pvt. Co., E. 12 Regt. U.S.C. H. Arty. was born in Clay Co. Ky, was enlisted the 19 day of July, 1864, at London Ky, by Capt Robt. Hays, and was mustered in the 20 day of July, 1864, at London Ky., by Capt. Robt, Hays for 3 years.
At the time of enlistment he was 21 years old, and 5 feet 6 1/2 inches in height. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[/strikethrough]] died) 21 day of January, 1866, at Columbus Ky; Lt. John B. Struthers was commanding officer, and Austin Young First Sergeant at time of soldiers Death. The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about same time and place: George White enlisted 19 day of July, 18564, and John Owens enlisted 18 day of July, 1864.
