William J. Murray-Priv:, "K" Co.,117th Reg't U.S.C. Troops, was born in Born Ky No record, was enlisted the 15th day of Sept, 1864, at Covington Ky, by Capt. Samuels, and was mustered in the 15 th day of Sept, 1864, at Covington Ky, by Capt. Samuels, for 3 years. 
At the time of enlistment he was 18 years old, and 5 feet 7 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a no record. He [[strikethrough]]was discharged (or[[/strikethrough]] died) 9th day of Nov, 1865, at Post Hospt'l Ringold Barracks Texas, 2nd Lieut A. Clark was commanding officer, and James Emory first sergeant at time of soldier's Death.
