NARA0310 (FORM 24.) Anderson Stevens-Private, F Co., 117th Reg't U.S.C. Troops, was born in Boone Co, Kentucky, was enlisted the 1st day of Sept, 1864, at Covington Ky, by Capt E.H. Samuels, and was mustered in the 1st day of Sept, 1864, at Covington Ky, by Capt E.H. Samuels, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 23 years old, and 5 feet 11 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Farmer. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[/strikethrough]] died) 4th day of February, 1865, at in the field Virginia. Capt P. T. Griffith was commanding officer, and Jonathan S. Caston first sergeant at time of soldier's Death.
