Mit Johnson, Pvt. Co., C.116 Reg't U.S.C.T
was born in Fayette Co. Ky., was enlisted the 1 day of July, 1864, at Lexington, Ky, by Thos. H Moore, and was mustered in the 5 day of July, 1864, at Lexington, Ky, by Capt, T.H. Moore, for 3 years.
     
At the time of enlistment he was 22 years old, and 5 feet 9 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Farmer. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or  [[/strikethrough]]died) 26 day of Aug., 1864, at Camp Nelson, Ky.

Capt. Thos P. Reilly was commanding officer, and Samuel Moten first sergeant at the time of soldier's Death.
