It is stated in the application upon which the settlement referred to above was made that the solider died at Louisville Ky,on or about the 24 day of Feb, 1865, that her maiden name
was Mary Gooch, that she was married to said
Woodey Herring on or about the 25 day of Dec, 1859, at Logan Co, Ky, by Lewis Green Colonel
