NARA 1001 (FORM 24.) Taylor JOhnson, Sergt. Co., "G," 114th Reg't U.S.C. Troops was born in Virginia, was enlisted the 31st day of May, 1864, at Camp Nelson, Ky., by Col. Sedgewick [[Sedgwick]], and was mustered in the 17th day of June, 1864, at Camp Nelson, Ky., by Col. Sedgewick, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 24 years old, and 5 feet 8 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Farmer. He was discharged [[strikethrough]] (or died) [[/strikethrough]] 2nd day of April, 1867, at Brazos Santiago, Texas Capt. Tho's T. Graves was commanding officer, and Boyle Ousley first sergeant at time of soldier's discharge. [[strikethrough]] The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about the same time and place: enlisted day of 186 , and enlisted day of 186 .
