It is stated in the application upon which the settlement referred to above was made that the solider died at Meridian, Miss on or about the 15 day of March, 1866, that her maiden name
was Emily Hayes, that she was married to said
Daniel Hayes on or about the 1 day of January, 1854
at Madison Co. Miss, by Lived together
as man & wife by Consent of their owners
