It is stated in the application upon which the settlement referred to above was made that the solider died at Vicksburg. on or about the   day of February, 1864, that her maiden name was Julia Waters, that she was married to said John Blake on or about the 4 day of July, 1859, at Clinton, Miss, by Wm Coates. Colored Minister.
