Edmund Edmonds, Private Co., "K," 13th Reg't U.S.C. Troops
was born in Prince Co., Kentucky, was enlisted the 26th day of
October, 1863, at Clarksville, Tenn, by Maj. Stearns,
and was mustered in the 19th day of November, 1863,
at Camp Rosecrans, Tenn., by Capt. R.D. [[?]], for 3 years.
At the time of enlistment he was 35 years old, and 5 feet
5 inches high, Dark complexion, Black eyes, Black hair,
and by occupation a Farmer. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[/strikethrough]] died) 21st day
of December, 1865, at Nashville, Tenn.
1st Lt. V.A. Tambling was commanding officer, and James
Smith first duty sergeant at time of soldier's death. [[strikethrough]] The following are
the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about the same time and place:
