It is stated in the application upon which the settlement referred to above was made that the soldier died at Natchez Miss. on or about the 1st day of June, 1864, that her maiden name was Louisa Bullit, that she was married to said Samuel Bell on or about the 20th day of October, 1859, at Bunker Hill Plantation [[strikethrough]] by [[/strikethrough]] Wilkinson Co. Miss by Louis Collier, Planter.
