It is stated in the application upon which the Settlement referred to above was made that the Soldier died at Waterproof, La, on or about the   day of   , 1864, that her maiden name was Nancy Ann Hamilton, that she was married to said John Taylor on or about the   day of Dec., 1863, at Davis Bend. Miss, by Colored Minister
