Minor Harris, Private Co., "D", 116th Reg't U.S.C. Troops was born in Scott Co., Kentucky, was enlisted the 5th day of July, 1864, at Lexington, Ky, by Thos H. Moore, and was mustered in the 6th day of July, 1864, at Lexington, Ky, by Capt. Thos H. Moore, for 3 years.

At the time of enlistment he was 20 years old, and 5 feet 7 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Laborer. He was discharged [[strikethrough]] (or died) [[/strikethrough]] 17th day of January, 1867, at New Orleans, La.

1st Lt. S. H. Gould was commanding officer, and Emanuel Worthington first sergeant at time of soldier's discharge. [[strikethrough]] The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about the same time and place:
