Case of Hetty widow of Joseph Simon Pvt, Co. A, 86 Regiment U. S. C. T. settled by Treasury Certificate No. 622.780
Please furnish any information the papers afford, upon which the above settlement was made, that will assist in the identification of the claimant. The name of the Sub-Agent or Attorney is of value.

[REPLY.]
It is stated in the application upon which the settlement referred to above was made that the soldier died at New Orleans, La in Hospital, on or about the 20 day of May, 1864, that her maiden name was Hetty Netter, that she was married to said Joseph Simon on or about the 20 day of October 1857, at Selmore Plantation, Adams Co, Miss., by Rev. Mr. Whelan, a Baptist Minister.
