It is stated in the application upon which the settlement referred to above was made that the soldier died at Camp Nelson, Ky. on or about the 15 day of May, 1865, that her maiden name was Eliza Coleman, that she was married to said Moses Malone on or about the day of , 18 , at Mr. Dunlaps in Woodford Co., by Spencer Taylor Colored preacher
