Alexander Tillman, Private Co., "B", 121st Reg't U.S.C. Troops was born in Fleming Co., Kentucky, was enlisted the 28th day of November, 1864, at Maysville, Ky., by Capt. E. H. Smith and was mustered in the 30th day of November, 1864, at Greensburg, Ky., by Capt. Grier, for 3 years. 
At the time of enlistment he was 19 years old, and 5 feet 8 3/4 inches high, Yellow complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a House Servant. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[/strikethrough]] died) 17th day of December, 1864, at Maysville, Ky. 1st Lt. Wm L. Seran was commanding officer, and George Jackson first duty sergeant at time of soldier's death.

REMARKS.

2. Any other peculiar fact or event connected with the soldier's history will also be noted. 
He was a Slave of John C. Brown's Estate. Fleming Co., Ky.
Joined Company at Original Organization.
Died in Regimental Hospital of Typhoid Fever.
