NARA0103 (FORM 24.) Isam Cahorn, Private Co., B 111 Reg't U.S.C.T. was born in Giles Co. Tenn., was enlisted the 12 day of January, 1864, at Cornerville Tenn., by J. K. Nelson, and was mustered in the 30 day of January, 1864, at Pulaski, Tenn., by Lt. Hoffman, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 21 years old, and 5 feet 4 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Farmer. He was discharged (or died) 1 day of January, 1866 , at Murfreesboro, Tenn. Lt. J. K. Nelson, was commanding officer, and David Bentford, first sergeant at time of soldier's death. REMARKS. 1. If a slave, that fact and name of owner will be noted here. 2. Any other peculiar fact or event connected with the soldier's history will also be noted. No record of Free or Slave status.
