Henry Anderson, Bugler Co., C. 3 Reg’t U.S.C. Cav. was born in Carroll Co. Miss., was enlisted the 1 day of Nov., 1863, at Vicksburg, Miss, by Capt. Benj. S. Wing, and was mustered in the 1 day of November, 1863, at Vicksburg, Miss, by Lt. K. Knox, for 3 years. 
     
At the time of enlistment he was 19 years old, and 5 feet 5 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Farmer.  He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[/strikethrough]] died) 9 day of August, 1864, at Vicksburg, Miss. Capt. Benj. S Wing was commanding officer, and Rollin C. Baker first sergeant at time of solider’s death.
