On Roll for Mar & April 1865 "Sick in Company", for May & June 1865 "Sick in Hospital since May 6, 1865; on all subsequent Muster Rolls "Sick in Hospital since July 1864" and so reported on Muster Out Roll of Co. He was discharged upon Surgeon's Certificate of Disability because of "Caries of sternum following gun shot wound received in line of duty, Dec 14, 1864.
