This indenture made this 1st day of December A.D. 1867 witnesseth that Jacob Wolf hath rented unto Lieut F.G. Dunn 11th U.S. Infantry & A.S.A. Com; 2nd Division 8th Sub District Va for and in behalf of the freedmen's Bureau in the town of Abingdon Va a certain room to be occupied as an office situated in said town of Abingdon for the period of one month with the privilege of retaining the same for as long as it may be required for the use of said Bureau for the sum of $8.00, Eight Dollars per month the occupancy of said office by said Bureau is to date from December 1st 1867 In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals day and date before mentioned.
