0405 Bureau of R.F. and A Lands Officer of Asst Superintendent Leesburg Va. March 14th. 1867 Bv't Brig Genl O. Brown A.A.A Genl. Richmond Va. General, In compliance with your communication of the 8th. inst, directing me to forward to your office the names of six (6) or more white citizens of this County, (Loudon) and the same number of names of Freedmen All of whom were to be of the first respectability, etc. etc. I have the honor to submit the following viz: Thos Moralles, P. C. address by Leesburg Va. Mr Moralles is a straight and ardant Union man. a gentleman of intelligence and strict integrity of character A Virginian by birth but was a refugee during the war- has returned since its close. James W Hague P.C address Lincoln Loudon Co. Va. Mr Hague is an uncompromising Union man, and has been so during the Civil War; is a Quaker, and a gentleman of intelligence and character. John B Dutton, Waterford, Loudon Co. Va. Mr Dutton is a Son of liberty indeed, he remained firm in his fidelity to the Union.
