As I leave here on the last day of the present month to be gone ten days at Helena on a paying trip if you desire to be paid before I go you must be present yourself at my office any week day between this & the 29th of May between the hours of 9  A.M. & 2 P.M.
If you defer it, you need not come until after the 10th of June next.

I have the honor to inform you that in the "list of claimants to be paid" forwarded to me from your office April 9, 1873 the Treasury Certificate (No 595869) issued in settlement of the claim of Charles Fremont late Pvt. Co. G, 46th U.S.C.T. is stated as amounting to $251.20 and that fees amounting to $11. have been paid to the Agent by the Chf. D.O. I am directed to pay $241.20 to the claimant. 

I desire to be informed whether I shall pay $241.20 as directed or $240.20, the correct amount of the Treasure Certificate after deducting the fees paid by the Chf D.O.

The same inquiry pertaining to the case of Robert Thompson late Pvt. Co H, 46. U.S.C.T. upon the list of same date.

In this case the Treas. Certif. (No 090442) is states to amount to $206.55, the fees paid to Agt. are $11, and I am directed to pay the claimant $195.45

I desire to be informed whether, in this case I shall pay the claimant $195.45 or $195.55.

As both of these claimants reside in Helena Ark. I desire to be informed in regard to their cases, if possible, before I leave for that city which will be on the 1st prox.
