In the last lists of claimants sent me for payment is that of Edward Ballson, Co. E. 13th C.T. I am informed that he died, in Aug. 1871, also that he left no heirs except a nephew who lives near here.
I would respectfully enquire whether I am to pay the money to the nephew.
