First Endorsement.

Respectfully returned to Major R S La Motte 13th Inf. Dis. Officer Nashville Tenn. who can deposite the amount and accept certificate of deposite in duplicate. Upon the receipt of the original certificate of deposite Captain James McMillan 3d Arttly. Cheif Dis. Officer will forward to you the named receipts, Form 9.

Respectfully referred to W. C. Butterfield Esq Cashier First National Bank who will please state whether the bank will issue duplicate certificates in accordance with the foregoing endorsement.
