General
I have the honor to respectfully acknowledge the receipt of your communication dated Nov 16th. requesting "evidence of the appointment of Mrs Justine Mezeix as Guardian."
I am informed by the Clerk of the Court here, that there is no record upon the books in his office of her ever having taken out "letters of Guardianship" and that the property (where in the three rooms are contained, which are used for this office) is held by her in truct for her son, who is a minor. Mrs Mezeix signs her name as Guardian when transacting business for her son
I am General
Very Respectfully
Your obedient Servant.
