Mustered - When March 1864 Where Vicksburg Miss By whom Never knew his name Description - Where born Smith Co Tennessee Age 26 years. Occupation Laborer Eyes Dark Hair Crisp Complexion Yellow Height 5 feet 7 1/2 inches. Discharged, or [[strikethrough]] died [[/strikethrough]] at Vicksburg Miss on the May 26 day of [[Jnay?]], 1866 Commanding Officer Capt Daniel H Nichols First Sergeant I dont remember who was acting when I was discharged Henry Smith Geo. Smith Thomas Parker & Geo. Reed Enlisted about the same time and place. REMARKS. Joined the Co. as recruit. Appointed Corporal in July 1864. Promoted Sergeant in Oct. I was reducted in the ranks - mustered out with the Company. I was detailed in duty at Genl Woods Hd. Qrs. in Vicksburg Miss. When I filed my claim for bounty were Reuben Andrews & Wesley Lawson.
