I know that I so sketch from nature, rapidly, what interest me, with [[underline]] colored pencils.[[/underline]] Hence such sketches contain the complete painting and more the actual picture should not give only  more fully realized than the limited possibilities of such pencils, time, and setting down of what I merely see; not yet translated by all sorts of changes into [[underline]] full pictorial effect [[/underline]] this the process of painting is to bring out.
